2021 / Fachklasse Grafik Luzern / Editorial Design
During a three-day study trip, our class visited the Andreas Züst Library in Appenzell. Just like Züst, we researched, collected and learned a lot there. But we weren't just supposed to look around, we also generated lots of material that served as the basis for this editorial design.
Each student collected data and images from 10 books and drew their covers. All of the text was generated through conversations and interviews with friends and acquaintances from around the world and centered around our experiences with books and reading in general. With all this material, the task was now to visualize Züst's impressive library.
